Incentive FM retains leading role with the Royal Shakespeare Company

Incentive FM has extended its contract with the Royal Shakespeare Company for a further three years, taking its partnership with RSC to nine years.

The RSC is a major British theatre company based in the historical centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Incentive FM’s Destination & Heritage sector will continue to be responsible for providing a range of services including cleaning and security to the client team, the actors & the audiences who all frequent the RSC’s amazing spaces.

The team is integral to the safe delivery of the performances, whilst ensuring that security protocols are sympathetically managed as audiences arrive and leave the theatres. It is also responsible for fire officer duties during some of the spectacular performances that involve pyrotechnics.

Looking to the future and building on the partnership Incentive FM is looking to support the RSC further with a collaborative approach to Social Value and working within the community. Its teams will focus on a number of community initiatives developed to make a real difference and support the RSC in its objectives, ensuring that Shakespeare really is accessible to all.

Claire Rumsey, Director, Incentive FM, said: “The team have such a connection with this contract and the importance of their role in delivering the clients vision that ‘Shakespeare should be accessible to all’. It’s a vital part of their community and they’re proud to be a part of the team, it really shines through.

Chris O’Brien, Director of Estates & IT, RSC, added: “Incentive FM continue to drive improvements within the delivery of services across the Estate and we are very happy to have renewed our contract to further strengthen our already successful partnership.”
