Independents by Sodexo served Clifton College catering deal

Independents by Sodexo has been awarded a £2.4 million a year contract to provide catering and hospitality services at independent public boarding school, Clifton College in Bristol.

The contract is due to commence on 1 July 2017 and will cover pupil, staff, hospitality and event catering.

Sodexo will provide pupils and staff with a wide range of dishes with an emphasis on fresh, nutritious and seasonal, using its ‘fresh food from scratch’ concept.

The College was first established in 1862 and now educates over 1,100 pupils aged between 2 and 18 years. Sodexo will therefore be providing over 2,000 meals a day, in addition to catering and hospitality for the school’s commercial events.

Dr Tim Greene, Headmaster at Clifton College, said: “After looking at a range of school meal providers, we chose to select Sodexo due to their proven track record in providing children with healthy school meals. We were impressed with their creative yet healthy menus and are very much looking forward to working with them.”

Independents by Sodexo recently announced it had been awarded a catering and hospitality contract at King’s Hall School and King’s College in Taunton, Somerset.
