International Workplace has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Learning Awards 2019 in the ‘Learning Technologies Award’ category – its second major accolade in two months.
The nomination showcases International Workplace’s ‘Accredited Content Connector’ (ACC) – a brand new development for the accredited course market that allows learning materials to be securely accessed from a third party learning management system (LMS), while the content and tracking remain under the control of International Workplace as a licenced content provider.
Last month, International Workplace was shortlisted as a finalist at the Learning Technologies Awards 2018, in the category of Best International Learning Platform Implementation for its work with the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education Training Institute (ADVETI).
The Learning Awards, which are run by the Learning Performance Institute, receive hundreds of entries from around the globe, and include submissions from many of the world’s leading companies. International Workplace faces stiff opposition in the final, with competitors including global brands Coca Cola and Hilti.
International Workplace’s Managing Director, David Sharp, commented: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for the Learning Technologies Awards for our development of the Accredited Content Connector. This effectively lets us plug in advanced xAPI course content into our clients’ SCORM-based legacy systems. It’s allowing our corporate clients to deliver accredited training through their LMS for the first time in many cases, with reduced study time and vastly improved reporting through their existing dashboards.
Winners of the Learning Awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 7 February 2019.
