Interserve secures £10m contract extension with Southwark Council

Interserve has been awarded a two-year contract extension to provide total facilities management services for local authority, Southwark Council.

Valued at over £10 million, the contract builds upon the international support services and construction group’s relationship with Southwark Council, which has seen the company provide facilities services to the Council for five years.

Interserve will continue to provide a range of services, including security, mechanical and electrical services, cleaning, helpdesk, portering and pest control at over 90 sites across the Borough of Southwark, including corporate buildings, care homes, day centres, and 13 libraries.

Martin Burholt, Managing Director for Communities at Interserve, said: “Our partnership with Southwark Council has enabled us to understand the needs of their wider community. We bring a wealth of experience in providing expert services in local government, making us well equipped to source the right solutions.”
