Interserve has secured a new contract, which will see the company provide facilities management support to the Qatar National Theatre.
The three-year deal has been struck between the Darwish Interserve Facility Management (DIFM) Group and Qatar Museums.
Under the contract terms DIFM will deliver a comprehensive operations and maintenance service to the 490 seater theatre, which is located on the Doha Corniche and hosts a wide selection of concerts and plays.
Martin Burholt, Managing Director of Interserve’s International Facilities Management and UK Communities business, said: “I am delighted we have secured a contract to provide facilities management support to one of Qatar’s most iconic buildings.
“We have already won two major contracts in Qatar this year, and this contract further underlines our commitment to the region.”
In 2018, DIFM was awarded the contract to deliver services to the International Centre for Sport Security and to the Qatar National Convention Centre.
