Interserve wins FM deal with Civil Nuclear Police Authority

Interserve Group Limited has won a five-year contract, worth £2.8 million, to provide facilities management services to the Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA) at its new training centre in Cumbria.

The contract is to deliver a range of services at the CNPA’s Griffin Park Tactical Training Facility. The state of the art building is run by the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) and houses the largest live firing skills arena in Europe, along with various training centres, classrooms and offices.

The contract will see Interserve clean and maintain the facility, deliver waste management and pest control services and provide mechanical and electrical services. Interserve will also run a helpdesk which will deal with all of the FM enquiries for the Nuclear Constabulary.

Jeff Flanagan, Managing Director, Interserve Business & Industry Business Unit, said: “I am delighted the CNPA has chosen to award this contract to Interserve. We have a proven track record in the nuclear industry and this contract provides a further illustration of our ability to deliver excellent facilities management services to this sector.”
