Crown Paints recently changed its supply strategy by moving to a single services provider for its estate. Under the agreement, Interserve will deliver M&E maintenance services to 131 Crown Decorator Centres, the Crown Paints’ head office, in Darwen, Lancashire, and two production facilities.
The contract will see services delivered across the country by Interserve’s Mobile & Technical Services engineering team and specialist supply chain partners. Services include maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment as well as water treatment services, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and grounds maintenance.
Steve Kennaugh, National Operations Manager, Interserve, said: “I am delighted that Crown Paints has chosen to award this contract to Interserve. This contract award illustrates our ability to deliver UK wide solutions to complex mechanical and electrical maintenance issues to both private and public sector clients. By combining our own maintenance fleet while managing a specialist supply chain to service this contract ensures we are best placed to deliver an outstanding service to Crown Paint and meet their operational needs.”
Interserve already supplies cleaning services at Crown Paints’ HQ and additional work is anticipated.
