ISS achieves ‘Super Star’ status on world’s best outsourcers list

For the sixth year in a row, global facility services provider, ISS, has achieved five stars – the highest possible rating on the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) Global Outsourcing Top 100 list, which ranks global outsourcing companies across all industries.

ISS was again designated a Super Star of the Global Outsourcing 100 – recognising that ISS has consistently ranked in the top for more than five years and attained a star in each category: Customer References, Size & Growth, Awards & Certifications, Programs for Innovations, and Programs for Corporate Social Responsibility.

The company’s overall score was 7.33 out of 8, compared with the Global Outsourcing 100 list’s 2018 average of 4.81.

Notably, ISS scored an 8 out of 8 in Corporate Social Responsibility, compared with the industry average of 3.94, demonstrating ISS’s strong performance as a responsible employer.

Commenting on the achievement, ISS Group CEO Jeff Gravenhorst said: “We are proud to be a global service leader – and that leadership depends on consistently delivering service excellence across our customer sites. As a company with 488,946 employees across more than 70 countries, the key to our success is the right balance between empowerment of our people and standardisation of our processes. Receiving five stars in IAOP’s rating demonstrates that our customers and industry peers recognise our success in this area – and underscores the strength of our value proposition.”

The evaluation of the 2018 Global Outsourcing Top 100 companies are based on a rigorous scoring methodology that includes an independent review by a panel of IAOP appointed judges. The judging committee all have extensive experience in selecting outsourcing service providers and advisors for their organisations.

The pool of candidates comprise global outsourcing leaders from all industries, including Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG and hundreds of others.
