ISS chosen as FM partner of Danish Building and Property Agency

The Danish Building and Property Agency, the state’s property enterprise and developer, has selected ISS Denmark as its partner in wave 1 of the government’s comprehensive integrated facility services outsourcing plan.

The seven-year contract, which is expected to be finalised after the 15 April 2019, has a total value of approximately DKK 2 billion (£230,450,000.00) over the full term.

The agreement between ISS and the Danish Building and Property Agency will commence on 1 October 2019 and will cover 162 locations.

ISS will deliver services in catering, internal and external property maintenance, cleaning, security, support services, and waste management.

Rasmus Brandt Lassen, Director of the Danish Building and Property Agency, commented: “ISS has significant capacity in the market, and we look forward to starting a strong partnership, where we can jointly develop, improve and professionalise an area with huge potential. We work with three core benchmarks for the solution: efficiency, quality and user satisfaction. Together with ISS, we will take up this challenge to ensure that the public institutions can focus on their core purpose to an even greater extent.”

Flemming Bendt, Country Manager at ISS Denmark, added: “We are pleased and proud that the Danish Building and Property Agency have chosen us as their partner, and we look forward to working with them to ensure that the conditions are right for state authority employees and their guests to be able to focus on their core tasks.”

More than 200 new colleagues will join ISS as part of the agreement.
