ISS continues FM partnership with global pharma firm

ISS has renewed an existing contract with a global pharmaceutical company.

The new contract, which has a slightly changed scope will run for five years until April 2027.

Under the terms of the deal, ISS will deliver integrated facility management services to offices, plasma donation centres, and manufacturing sites in various regions globally via a team of approximately 1,000 employees.

The scope of services includes technical maintenance, facilities maintenance and repair, GMP cleaning and general cleaning, food and hospitality services, landscaping and security services as well as a broad variety of support services (mail, laundry, helpdesk, etc.).

The annual revenue of the contract is above 1 per cent. of Group revenue.

Commenting on the contract renewal, Andrew Price, interim CEO, Global Key Accounts, said: “I am very happy that we can continue our multi-year partnership on a global scale and keep supporting the important work that this company is doing in providing better health to the world. The contract is an acknowledgment of our many placemakers who have been delivering a dedicated service throughout the years.”

Waste Management and Recycling Survey

FMJ in conjunction with Grundon Waste Management have launched the 2022 survey into how FMs approach their waste management and recycling responsibilities.

It’s the fifth year for the annual appraisal, and as we return to normal, there is a real opportunity for FMs to reappraise their waste and recycling operations and look at new, smarter waste management strategies.

In order to understand how FMs have navigated their way through the last year and their plans for meeting stringent waste and recycling targets we’ve posed a series of questions which include insights into FMs’ waste management strategy and targets, such as zero waste and landfill, the types of waste organisations produce and what helps FMs promote waste management in their organisations?

Please share your experiences and opinions on waste management. The survey will take just five minutes to complete, and as a thank you for taking part, respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 Amazon gift card.
