ISS expands RWE deal in the Czech Republic

ISS Czech Republic has retained its contract with one of Europe’s leading electricity and gas companies, RWE, in Bohemia, and expanded its services to the region of Moravia.

ISS was awarded the contract for providing Integrated Facility Services (IFS) for one of Europe’s five leading electricity and gas companies, RWE, in the Czech Republic and as of 1 April became an exclusive Facility Services provider to RWE’s 520 buildings spread across 128 locations.

Services will be provided through an IFS solution, which include cleaning services, property services, outside cleaning and landscaping, as well as energy management, technical audits and pest control services.

Due to the expansion, ISS has confirmed its position as a leader in the Czech IFS market, which will see a total number of 180 ISS employees providing services to RWE.

During RWE Suppliers & Partners Annual conference 2015, held in March 2015, ISS Facility Services Czech Republic was awarded Strategic partner of 2014 – in the field of non-core RWE business.

Jan Boháček, country manager of ISS in the Czech Republic & Slovakia, said:

“We are honoured and extremely proud to receive the RWE award ‘Strategic Partner of the Year 2014‘. It’s a further acknowledgement of our employees and big thanks for the great job they have done for the last three years supporting RWE on their journey to maintain the position of the largest distributor of gas in the country and get the greatest share of valet in electricity energy sales. This is real proof of our value proposition to be a long-term partner through an effective IFS solution in line with relevant external and internal standards for service quality and highly safe operation.

“The customer segment ‘Energy and Resources’ is one of the top prioritised customer segments, we want to focus on in the future. In addition to providing services in this segment for companies such as CEZ in the Czech Republic and Enel in the Slovakia, we are very happy that we defended and expanded our cooperation with RWE.  We believe, that we will continue to develop and strengthen our partnership with RWE and we will deliver services with the power of the human touch that will support RWE in their business.”
