ISS flying high with 24-year airport catering deal in Israel

ISS Israel’s inflight catering services has been awarded a 24-year franchise contract to provide airline meals at the country’s main international airport, Ben Gurion.

The new long-term deal builds on ISS Israel’s successful airline catering business, which currently sees a team of 280 employees providing approximately 2.5 million meals per annum to 25 international airlines, including British Airways, Korean Airlines, and Delta Airlines.

Commenting on the contract award, Gaby Glazer, ISS Israel inflight catering division manager, said:

“ISS has been the leader in inflight catering for the past 19 years in Israel, and this contract further strengthens our position.”

The terms of the new deal include the building of a new industrial kitchen in the airport, which will be operational from 1 January 2020.
