Julius Rutherfoord has appointed Chris Parkes as its new operations director.
In his new role, Parkes will be responsible for leading the premium cleaning services operations team to ensure that the services delivered remain true to the organisations ethos and values whilst facilitating the company’s growth plans.
Parkes is an experienced operator and leader with proven success in delivering cleaning and FM services across a variety of sectors on both a local and national level. He has an extensive business and leadership background driving innovation, organisational change and account development ensuring a ‘best in class’ service to his clients.
Parkes has held senior national roles for FTSE listed FM companies and also privately owned international FM service providers. Prior to joining the facilities management sector he undertook a number of senior positions as a commissioned officer in the military.

Over 2,250 staff provide daily cleaning services for a wide variety of prestigious offices, commercial premises and educational establishments. This appointment follows the recent expansion of the operations team, with two general managers joining the existing team.
