Keysource launches new service to help with the impact of skills shortage

Data centre and critical environment specialist, Keysource, has launched a new specialist service designed to help organisations that are struggling to recruit candidates with the right experience.

It has been designed to help address the current skills shortage across the datacentre, pharmaceutical and wider technology sectors, which is also making it challenging to retain people, often resulting in a lack of consistency and momentum for major transformation strategies, programmes and projects.

The Keysource Project Management service will address the strategic needs of an organisation, advising on the programme of projects, including interdependencies and budgets, and then supporting in its execution. It will cover a range of vital areas such as the management of full project lifecycle from inception to BAU, establishing processes and governance, risk management and systems integration within a live environment.

The development of the overarching strategy, budget and programmes will be executed by the senior management team. Each project management service requirement will be matched with an experienced project manager that has technical experience, which can be for singular, or multiple projects, and either be full time or part time. Other benefits include access to wider business support such as cost management, budgeting, pre-construction and the development of clear business cases.

Mark Snooks, Head of Delivery at Keysource, said: “The lack of professionals who are experienced in critical environments is causing real challenges as organisations are required to meet the growing demands and opportunities within the sector. Our new PM services can deliver seamless solution integration and delivery for both new and live environments where zero downtime is paramount.”

Richard Clifford, Head of Solutions at Keysource, added: “Keysource works across multiple sectors, all experiencing a shortage in skilled personnel and disruption from BAU with sickness etc. Our team are the best in the industry, all with hands on technical experience and the ability to integrate with wider client-side teams and stakeholders. With our experience and flexibility, we have seen unparalleled growth with this service and have been able to help our clients to execute their programmes quickly and ensure certainty of outcome.”
