Construction services and property group Kier, has been awarded a number of new contracts in the Middle East worth a combined total of £145 million.
Kier has been named preferred bidder for a £100 million mixed-use development in Dubai, as well as two infrastructure contracts totalling £15 million on a major new leisure park project for the region.
In Saudi Arabia, Kier has also secured a £30 million infrastructure project with a leading Saudi state-owned company in the eastern region.
These contract wins, which are expected to commence this month, further strengthen Kier’s position in the international marketplace.
In the last 12 months Kier has doubled its revenue and secured other prestigious projects in the Middle East for clients in the finance, leisure and education sectors. This includes a £47 million Dubai Parks project and a £26 million project for Dubai University.
