Market leader in energy efficient AHU and Chiller products, heat pumps, cooling systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, McQuay (UK) Ltd has announced that, from 1 April 2015, the company will trade under the new name Daikin Applied (UK) Ltd and Daikin Applied Service.
Jim Henley, General Manager at McQuay (UK) Ltd, explained: “The decision to rename McQuay (UK) Ltd and McQuay Service is part of a global rebranding strategy to more clearly define and communicate our HVAC offering to the UK and markets worldwide.
“The new brand name unifies a progressive and innovative collaboration of organisations. For our customers, it will mean a strengthening in our commitment to them, not only through product and technology innovations, but also accompanied by expert consultation and enhanced communication.
“Whilst our name is changing, our legal status and our office address and contact details will remain the same. The company’s business remains fundamentally unaffected by this change. All contracts with existing customers, suppliers and stakeholders will remain unaltered, with corresponding obligations and rights assumed under the new names.”
Daikin is a well-known and trusted brand name within the HVAC industry and is synonymous with expertise in technology and excellence in engineering. Daikin was founded in October 1924 and has an extensive history of developing new, industry leading HVAC innovations and technology. Daikin is a Fortune 1000 company with more than 56,000 employees worldwide, making it the number one global air conditioning company.
As part of the rebrand, a new fully responsive, integrated website will be launched on April 1 at www.daikinapplied.uk and will be a hub of information for contractors, customers and suppliers. Users can browse the company’s full product portfolio, extensive service offering and latest industry news.
Jim continued: “Our new brand name encompasses everything from customer perception and experience to quality, look and feel. In the next few months, we will be rebranding our marketing literature and signage. Customers can rest assured that we will maintain the same level of engineering service expertise and customer oriented approach for which we are renowned.”
