Ardent UK, a global expansion of US-based asset management firm Ardent Companies LLC, has appointed specialist property managers, Lee Baron, to provide long-term property management services for its new purchase of a collection of 12 properties across the UK.
Lee Baron’s remit will include the day-to-day estate management of the entire logistics and industrial portfolio. As well as dealing with all aspects of daily and financial management of the assets, Lee Baron will work closely with the appointed asset manager in pursuing value-generating opportunities using its experience within the industrial and logistics markets to drive the value of the portfolio. Lee Baron will also assist the client with driving environmental initiatives to improve the green credentials of the properties where possible.
The total size of the portfolio is approximately 1.4 million sq ft, generating over £4 million per annum in rent. It comprises the 350,000 plus sq ft Aggregator Portfolio, which contains assets in seven locations in England and Scotland; the 940,000 plus sq ft Monument Portfolio, and two additional assets in Lancaster and Milton Keynes.
