Macro, the facilities management arm of Mace, has won two trophies at the 2018 Middle East Facilities Management Awards.
The first, for FM Manager of the Year, was given to Macro’s Orla Phillips, who is the Middle East Regional Account Manager for a Macro client, a leading global banking and financial services company.
Phillips was given the award by the judges for her technical enhancements at client sites, as well as her management skills. It was noted that she has also taken a leading role in Macro’s corporate social responsibility work in the region.
Speaking about her award, Phillips said: “It was such a fantastic honour to be shortlisted, let alone win. It’s all down to the support and faith everyone in Macro had in me. I was very proud taking my award home and even more proud to be a member of the Macro team.”
As well as winning FM Manager of the Year, Macro was also highly commended for the FM Consultancy of the Year award. The judges noted particularly Macro’s rich international pool of subject matter experts.
Chris Bond, Macro Head of Consultancy, MENAP said: “I am delighted to accept the Highly Commended award on behalf of the Middle East FM Consultancy Team. It is a testament to the hard work and client focus of our Consultants, and recognition of our track record across multiple sectors. I look forward to building on this industry recognition by continuing to develop our capabilities, opportunities and regional reach.”
