RUBY MCGREGOR-SMITH GETS ON BOARD AT Q3
Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith has joined newly launched boutique
facilities management company, Q3, as its Non-Executive Chairwoman.
Baroness McGregor-Smith has a high profile in the British business
world, having served as the CEO of Mitie Group PLC for over nine years
and chaired ground-breaking reports on behalf of the UK government into
diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace.
Speaking about the appointment, Martyn Freeman, Q3’s CEO said: “I am
delighted to welcome Ruby to our business. Q3 will be a game-changer
in the FM industry by actively disrupting the old ways of working. We are

BONHAM APPOINTED HEAD OF ASSET SERVICES UK
AT CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD
Louise Bonham has joined Cushman & Wakefield as Head of Asset Services UK
and will also sit on the firm’s UK & Ireland Executive Committee.
Bonham joins the company from CBRE where she was the Chief Operating
O icer for the cross-EMEA Advisory & Transaction Services business. Her previous
experience includes roles in the Real Estate teams of Deloitte, Deutsche Bank
and Brunswick Group. Forming one of Cushman & Wakefield’s core global service
lines, the Asset Services team is dedicated to providing comprehensive property management
services throughout the asset life cycle.
FONTANA ELECTED SENIOR
VICE PRESIDENT OF RICS
Kath Fontana FRICS has been
elected Senior Vice President
of the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors (RICS),
and will take up the post in
Fontana will be the first
chartered surveyor from the
area of workplace and facilities
strategy to lead the profession
and will become RICS President in November 2020. She
is the third woman in the past 10 years to be elected to
the RICS Presidential Team.
Standing at the forefront of technological progress in
property, Fontana is a strong proponent of the Internet
of Things and the opportunities a networked built
environment can bring to businesses and people. She
has worked at a senior level across multiple sectors
including banking, retail, professional services, defence,
science, local and central government and PFI.
Fontana is Managing Director for ISS’ Technical Services
business, based in the UK. She leads a team of over
1,000 employees to deliver mobile engineering, energy
management and compliance services across the UK.
