MITIE wastes no time celebrating £38m contract with Mitchells & Butlers

MITIE has been celebrating the award of a £38m waste management and cleaning contract with Mitchells & Butlers, a leading operator of restaurants and pubs in the UK.

Under the new three year contract, MITIE will provide recycling and environmental services at 1,600 restaurants and pubs across the UK. The outsourced service provider will also deliver cleaning at 650 establishments, standardising service levels across the estate.

Martyn Freeman, managing director of MITIE’s facilities management business, commented:

Jamie Swanston, head of corporate and retail procurement at Mitchells & Butlers, highlighted why the decision was taken to award the contract to MITIE:
