Spotless Commercial Cleaning has achieved success in the Wow! Awards, which recognises outstanding customer service, as voted for by clients via an online nomination system.
The company joined the Wow! Awards less than a year ago, offering clients an opportunity to nominate star cleaners who go the extra mile.
A total of 50 nominations were made for cleaners from Spotless operations throughout Scotland and Newcastle.
Debbie Maclachlan in Glasgow, who was nominated four times by clients, achieved the highest number.
Spotless, which obtained Investor in People status in 2009, attributes its success to an ethos of nurturing excellent workers and delivering a high level of client satisfaction.
Since its launch in Edinburgh in 1989, Spotless has earned a strong network and an excellent reputation, thanks to an emphasis on quality service and an understanding of the distinct business culture in the north.
Roger Green, chief executive officer and founder of Spotless Commercial Cleaning, said: “We are delighted with all the Wow! Awards nominations for our outstanding staff.
“We believe in creating a supportive, positive environment for staff, where employees benefit from training, above average pay, career progression opportunities and, importantly, the recognition they deserve.
“We know there is a direct link between happy staff and productivity – which our clients recognise, too. Happy cleaners make for happy clients.”
The company has also seen its loyal, long-standing client base grow as word continues to spread.
Green added: “We also work with UK wide companies to provide a trusted partner for the Northern element of national contracts.”
Spotless, which runs operations in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Newcastle, employs 800 in Scotland and 1000 in the UK.
