Irish catering and facilities management firm, Mount Charles, has been awarded a seven-year contract with national public media organisation RTÉ.
The contract will see Mount Charles delivering a bespoke food and beverage offering for 1,822 staff and clients at RTÉ’s Donnybrook campus in Dublin which includes RTÉ’s television and radio studios, as well as the Fair City set.
Mount Charles has invested £100,000 to deliver a new experience, which will host its exciting food concept offers including; Real Good Food, Honest and Urban Square Coffee.
Real Good Food uses the best local ingredients to provide traditional home comfort food with a modern twist. Honest will serve fresh, non-processed, food and juices, accompanied by comprehensive nutritional information and Urban Square Coffee aims to transform the radio coffee shop into a destination venue.
All the menus have been developed especially for RTÉ featuring traditional home comfort food with a modern twist and dishes will be prepared using healthy cooking techniques.
Mount Charles Chairman and founder Trevor Annon, said: “We are delighted to announce our most recent contract win. It is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of some heavyweight contracts we have picked up over the last two years and I believe it sends out a strong message to the market.”
The contract award expands Mount Charles’ portfolio of high-profile clients in Dublin which include Griffith College, Public Appointments Service, Ordinance Survey Ireland, Abbey Theatre, National Aquatic Centre and Custom House.
