New downloadable pack aims to help FM meet sustainability challenges

Over 94 per cent of respondents to the second annual waste management survey carried out by FMJ in partnership with Grundon Waste Management have said there is a growing emphasis on their business’ sustainability and environmental credentials within their day-to-day role. The second joint survey by FMJ and Grundon Waste Management on how FMs approach waste management and recycling also reveals a shift in priorities from compliance to positive sustainability outcomes.

This is why in association with the experts at Grundon Waste Management, we’ve produced a downloadable guide for FMs on the 12 steps to developing a winning waste management strategy.

The eBook offers users an invaluable digital aide to developing a bespoke waste management strategy that can be applied to any organisation. The topics covered include; the importance of employee education and engagement, gaining leadership support and buy in, taking the time to audit your premises to see the waste you are producing, setting goals and targets, and celebrating your achievements

Commented Stephen Hill, Head of Sales, Grundon Waste Management: “Effective, responsible management of an organisations waste is not only good for the environment, enhancing the business reputation, it can save money, build team spirit, and avoid the risk of non-compliance.

“The key to having successful waste management is having clear strategy in place.

“This is why our new downloadable kit provides FMs with a step-by-step guide to creating a successful waste management strategy. It will provide practical advice on getting to grips with the waste that your organisation produces, including how to identify it.

“We’ll discuss setting clear, tangible and measurable goals; and how to measure your performance against these targets.”
