Mark Langlands has bee appointed to the role of communications manager of the Norse Group.
Langlands brings with him a wealth of communications experience to the Norwich-based business having held senior communications roles with Norfolk County Council, where he was media and public affairs manager for 16 years prior to joining Norse, and at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
He has also worked on a on a number of newspapers in London and Kent before moving to Archant where he was a specialist writer on local government for the Eastern Daily Press and Eastern Evening News, before becoming news editor of the Evening News.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Britch, managing director of Norse, said:
“Mark brings a wealth of communications experience to Norse Group, having worked both media-side and client-side. His knowledge of local government public affairs will be particularly valuable as we look to build on our established portfolio of local authority joint venture partnerships around the UK.”
