Norse expands its security services into the leisure industry

Commencing this month, Norse Security will be providing security services at Blue Sky Leisure holiday parks in Kelling Heath and Woodhill in north Norfolk.

The three-year contract, which is the first of its type for Norse Security, will see its team provide night guards and mobile patrols for the parks and supply extra security staff during busy periods and special events.

George Jarvis, Head of Norse Security, said he hoped the leisure and tourism industry move would lead to other exciting opportunities. He commented: “This contract is an exciting move for us, providing an opportunity to expand our security services into the leisure industry.

“The vast majority of our contracts are corporate, but our high-quality security provision is transferable across different industries.”

Like other Norse Security clients, guards at both parks will be supported by the new Norse Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

Jarvis added: “This state-of-the-art control centre uses the latest technology to provide comprehensive, 24/7 monitoring of CCTV systems. It also enables Norse Security to respond promptly to alerts and dispatch our mobile response team if necessary.”

Park Manager Mark Durrant said: “We are looking forward to working with Norse Security because of their professional approach and comprehensive range of services and their environmental ethos.

“This means all vehicles used on the parks will be fully electric, which only complements Blue Sky Leisure’s commitment to sustainability.”

Part of Norse Commercial Services, Norse Security has partnerships with more than 100 clients across East Anglia.
