Norse schools’ catering division has been awarded new contracts worth over £877,000 and taken on its first school in Peterborough.
The schools include Littleport Primary in Cambridgeshire, Ranelagh Primary and Rushmere Primary in Ipswich, and Elton Primary in Peterborough.
Commenting on the new contracts, Business Development Manager Victoria Williams said: “We are working with each school to implement initiatives to increase meal uptake and make significant improvements to their previous service delivery. Our proposals for these developments were key factors in the schools’ decision to move to Norse Catering.
“We will be introducing more regular promotions and themed-days, cookery demonstrations and workshops proven to engage and educate pupils and parents around the lunch time experience. Our designated account managers will provide more regular and local support to each school; this will ensure they receive the best possible service from Norse, which will make continual improvements to the overall catering provision and experience.”
Norse has a portfolio of over 230 schools across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, and provides in excess of 20,000 meals each day of the school term.
