Norse’s catering division has recently secured over £800,000 worth of new school meals agreements and renewed more than £630,000 of existing business.
One of the new high schools Norse is taking on from September, will be showcasing ‘Fresssh’ the company’s new high school brand launched earlier this year.
The retained deals include five schools in the Wensum Trust, where Norse also was recently re-awarded a new agreement with another of its secondary schools.
Commercial Sales Manager Victoria Williams said: “It is very rewarding to win new business as it clearly shows Norse’s high-quality catering service, local produce and dedicated support is what is attracting schools to use our service.
“It is equally satisfying, and important, to continue to be re-awarded existing contracts. Our retained business contributes to our long-term sustainability, which in turn ensures continuity for the clients and job security for our staff.”
Norse supplies catering to over 250 schools across Norfolk and North Suffolk. Nationally its education sector catering is worth approximately £18 million per year to the Group.
