Norse lands catering deal at new Aviation Academy

Norse Catering has been awarded a five-year contract to provide catering services at Norwich’s new state of the art International Aviation Academy which is expected to officially open in April 2017.

As part of the agreement Norse will create an individually designed café within the academy, that will offer a ‘grab and go’ environment and a hospitality facility.

The catering facilities area will be handed over in February 2017. With a capacity for 500 students on its roll, plus staff and public visitors, Norse is projecting an annual catering turnover of around £230,000 a year at the Academy.

Speaking about the contract win, Norse commercial director, Terrance Isaac-Griffiths, said:

“We are delighted to be the catering partner for the International Aviation Academy-Norwich. Our exciting coffee shop concept will provide students, visitors and the local business community a place to relax, refresh and refuel. With high-quality coffee, varied and nutritious breakfast options, freshly prepared and enticing grab ‘n’ go lunches and a substantial hospitality menu; we feel this has all the right ingredients to support the Aviation Academy in being a centrepiece within the region and beyond.”
