Norse has been awarded a total facilities management (TFM) contract with the Heart Trust, a multi-academy trust based in Norfolk currently consisting of four primary academies.
The three-year deal, worth around £200,000 a year, includes statutory compliance, reactive maintenance, cleaning and adds to the caretaking and existing contracts Norse has with Heart Trust for waste and catering services.
Commenting on the contract award, Daniel Vanstone, Norse Commercial Director said: “We are delighted to build on our excellent relationship with Heart Trust.
“We are proud to be one of the leading Total FM providers to the education and commercial sectors in the region, and this new agreement with Heart is a prestigious addition to our portfolio.”
Under the new deal 10 staff have transferred into Norse under a TUPE agreement and two new employees have been taken on.
Total facilities management is worth around £10 million to Norse in Eastern England and provides employment for around 400 staff.
