Norse renews partnership with Waltham Forest Council

Norse Group has renewed its partnership with Waltham Forest Council to provide a range of professional consultancy services to support the Council’s ambitious investment programme and public service strategy until 2027.

This includes supporting the delivery of the Borough’s five-year £500 million capital investment strategy, which will see the creation of new homes and improvements to council housing, as well as the expansion of schools and a wide range of vital local infrastructure, which will support economic growth and regeneration in the area for years to come.

Partnership Director, Amy Leader, said: “We are delighted to be extending and resetting our partnership with London Borough of Waltham Forest.

“Over the past 14 years, we have achieved an enormous amount together, supporting the community and helping to deliver some incredible projects, which have had a transformative impact on the local area.

“Now is also the perfect time for us to reset our partnership and focus on the future, as we seek to continue to support the Borough with its strategic priorities going forward – including exciting plans for a 15-minute neighbourhood and addressing the Climate Emergency.”

Cllr Simon Miller, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Housing Development at Waltham Forest Council, said: “We have worked together on a number of innovative projects that have brought major benefits to the area, such as the work to transform garage sites into good quality affordable housing, and turning council-owned, seemingly impracticable small parcels of land into new homes for local families.
