Novus Property Solutions has expanded its work with property management, development and regeneration company Places for People, as part of a four-year partnership worth over £20 million.
Novus will undertake planned refurbishment of Places for People’s properties across large parts of the south of England and carry out decency work to around 5,000 homes to keep them up to the Decent Homes Standard.
The firm, which has been working in partnership with Places for People for the last four years, is now Places for People’s primary contractor across Milton Keynes, North London and the Thames Gateway, the South West and the South East.
Commenting on the partnership, Steven Pinder, principal quantity surveyor at Places for People, said:
“We welcome continuing to build our relationship with Novus through the planned works contract in the south. We will be working collectively with Novus, Places for People’s property maintenance team and our other partnering contractor in the north over the next four years to successfully deliver our stock improvement works programme.”
As a result of the partnership with Places for People, Novus has already opened a new office in Uxbridge and has employed 25 more staff and operatives to ensure it delivers the contract smoothly and successfully, with more new employment to be created as the partnership develops.
