Contract cleaning and FM specialist, Nviro, has retained its contract to continue cleaning for the Isle of Wight Council for a further three years, in a deal worth in excess of £200,000 per annum.
The new contract, which has an option to continue for a further two years, will see Nviro providing daily cleaning services at a variety of locations including museums, a crematorium, offices, youth centres, libraries, fire stations and tourist attractions. This includes Dinosaur Isle, Britain’s first purpose-built dinosaur attraction, where visitors walk back through time in a spectacularly-shaped building that is reminiscent of a Pterosaur flying across the cretaceous skies!
Louise Richards, business development manager for Nviro, said:
“Nviro is delighted to have been retained by Isle of Wight Council to clean so many of its facilities. We worked closely with the council during the previous five-year contract, holding joint monthly audits at each site and preparing quarterly KPI reports, where scores consistently exceeded client targets. This performance, plus the fact that we have a highly mobile team of operatives ready to respond to emergencies or cover unexplained absences, helped us to retain the business. This is also backed by a strong management presence on the island, and extensive experience in delivering these types of contracts, where flexibility and cost efficiency are key issue.”
Nviro has provided cleaning and maintenance services for a large number of the council’s buildings for the last five years.
