OCS has won a soft service facilities management contract with Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (HEY).
The terms of the five-year deal will see the international facilities management services provider deliver domestic cleaning services encompassing daily scheduled, rapid response, and specialist cleaning across the sites.
Established in 1999 following the merger of the Royal Hull Hospitals NHS Trust and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, HEY is one of the largest Trusts in the UK, employing over 8,000 staff and serving around one million patients in North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire each year. HEY operates from two main hospital sites, Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital, plus a number of additional services spread across other local sites in the community.
Petra Moss, Managing Director for OCS Healthcare and Education, said of the win: “We are incredibly pleased to have won this contract with a Hospital Trust that provides such key services to its community. We look forward to working in partnership with the Trust in delivering the highest standards of service.”
The contract commenced on 1 June 2018, and represents one in a number of key healthcare wins for OCS over the past year.
