BICSc operates to raise standards of education and build awareness of the cleaning industry through professional standards and accredited training. Through the promotion of best practice, BICSc works to protect cleaning operatives, promote sustainability and provide clean and safe environments.
Taylor started her career as a cleaning operative/pot washer, and over the past 23 years has worked across the facilities management industry in a range of environments, from healthcare and education to nuclear power stations and food manufacturing facilities. She has a deep understanding of the cleaning industry and is a passionate advocate of industry best practice ensuring consistency of the profession.
Speaking about the appointment, Taylor said: “I am proud to be joining the BICSc Council to help promote best practice across the industry. I firmly believe in the profession and all it has to offer as a long-term career choice.”
Taking a seat as a Corporate member, Taylor joins 11 other volunteers on the Council.
