Pareto FM releases MHFA guidance to coincide with ‘Time To Talk’ Day

Pareto FM has released its mental health first aider guidance to coincide with ‘Time To Talk Day’ on Thursday 3rd February.

The guidance which has been created by Pareto’s collective of Mental Health First Aiders focusses on tips for staying mentally healthy in the workplace. These include ideas such as, taking your mobile for a walk, creating ‘to do’ lists and reaching out for help.

Pareto have set a target to maintain a ratio of 20:1 in terms of colleagues to mental health first aiders to ensure everyone in the business has access to the adequate level of mental health support.

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s the day that friends, families, communities, and workplaces come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Paige Brookes, Engagement Manager at Pareto FM, who led the initiative commented: “At Pareto we actively seek to raise the mental health awareness discussion on a daily basis. We understand the critical importance of supporting our teams as individuals who are each going through their own unique journeys. We are privileged in Pareto to have the resources to offer support which is only possible through our incredible internal network on volunteers. It is so important for all of us to consider our mental health and these tips the team have put together will enable us all to consider the best way to look after ourselves.”
