Pareto FM has secured a contract to provide hard services at The Postal Museum’s newly built facility in Clerkenwell, London.
The Postal Museum in Clerkenwell reveals five centuries of British social and communications history as seen through the eyes of its iconic postal service. Alongside permanent exhibition galleries and a temporary exhibition space, Mail Rail – London’s secret Post Office Underground Railway. In 2017 it was opened to the public for the first time in its 100-year history and forms part of a subterranean ride through some of the original tunnels.
Visitors to The Postal Museum can descend into the former engineering depot of Mail Rail and board a miniature train into the original tunnels deep below Royal Mail’s Mount Pleasant sorting office.
Commenting on the contract award, Andrew Hulbert, Pareto FM MD said: “What a way to welcome in 2020! We are so excited to get moving on this project. How many contracts are there that have a fully functional subterranean ride running through them?! We are thrilled and humbled to have been granted this contract and look forward to progressing the service provision. This contract further cements Pareto’s position within both the Charity and Museum sector building on the current work with the Design Museum, London Zoo and Amnesty International.”
