Pareto FM wins TFM deal with HORIBA MIRA

Pareto FM has been appointed by global independent vehicle engineering and development consultancy, HORIBA MIRA to deliver Total FM services across its 850 acre estate in Nuneaton and sister site in Basildon.

The contract will see Pareto FM deliver all associated total facilities management services including management, mechanical and electrical compliance, security and other auxiliary services.

HORIBA MIRA is a global provider of automotive engineering, research and test services, with 75 years of experience in developing some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. Working in collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and suppliers around the world, they provide comprehensive support ranging from technology development and individual product tests through to full-vehicle design, development and build programmes.

Speaking about the contract award, Julie Timson, Head of Procurement at HORIBA MIRA commented: “We went to market looking to upgrade our approach to facilities management. It was important to run a professional, detailed and in depth process to ensure the best outcome. In Pareto we found a partner that took the time to fully understand what we required and worked with us to build a model in an entirely new way. Pareto have been engaging, interested and innovative throughout the mobilisation process and we can already see the impact the changes have made. We have incredibly high standards in addition to our strict security protocols so required a partner that was able to operate around our unique needs.”

Andrew Hulbert, Pareto FM MD added: “To partner with an organisation like HORIBA MIRA is a genuine privilege. When we first saw the HORIBA MIRA facility in Nuneaton we knew this was the opportunity to build a unique model to support this world-leading organisation. From the outset we worked with HORIBA MIRA to truly bespoke our offering and offer the opportunity to create an entirely new way on managing FM on site. We have hit the ground running and can’t wait to see how the relationship develops and grows over time. This is one of the most important organisations in the world for the automotive industry and we are privileged to be working alongside them in partnership.”
