Penguin FM has secured a contract renewal with Provenance Inns & Hotels, offering full facilities management for each of the groups seven inns and hotels.
The 12-month contract was awarded after completion of a previous contract which culminated in Penguin supporting Provenance Inns & Hotels with a safe reopening across all of its venues in July 2020.
Following the closure of all seven inns and hotels from March – July, when the green light was given by the government for hospitality venues to reopen, Penguin FM supported Provenance Inns & Hotels with a number of safety, compliance and upgrade projects, including 40 additional jobs, which were all scheduled and delivered within two weeks.
Speaking about the renewal of the contract, Edward Wick, Director at Penguin FM said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Provenance Inns and we’re really pleased that we could react quickly to support the group with everything required for their all-important reopening.”
FMJ has teamed up with Zip Water, creator of award-winning sustainable drinking water systems, to discuss the ways in which FMs can safeguard the provision of essential amenities within the workplace as we emerge into a new era of touch-free, socially distanced offices.
During the event, which will feature a panel of leading FMs and an FM services provider, we will discuss how FM professionals, office managers and HR managers can balance the need to manage shared spaces, such as staff kitchens, while maintaining a safe environment and meeting energy and waste reduction targets. This will include a look at some of the latest touch-free technologies; including apps to manage workflow and hands-free automation (e.g. automatic doors, taps etc).
