Construction and facilities management business, Polyteck Group, has created a new structure for its business operations, forming two new distinctive divisions: maintenance and specialist services, and property development.
The move follows a strategic review that identified a need to offer the company’s clients a more clearly defined service offer, with stronger demarcation around its activities.
Each division will have its own managing director and structure, that will enable its teams to focus more closely on singular tasks and projects, with a focus on direct and self-delivery.
The newly formed maintenance entity will see the integration of a number of contracts, with the enlarged business generating revenue in excess of £20 million. This provides both scale and depth to enhance the delivery of more complex maintenance services in the future.
Polyteck also recently established its own specialist in-house water treatment, drainage and plumbing, and compliance operations to support its maintenance activities. These will all form part of this specialist division, alongside engineering, validation, fire and security, and electrical services.
The company’s re-generation and construction activity will sit within the new property development division.
George Polycarpou, MD of Polyteck, said: “The launch of our new maintenance and specialist services and property development divisions is a clear signal of our ongoing commitment to our clients.
“It enables the company to concentrate on its engineering and maintenance activities, where we have strong market positions, which in turn helps to underpin more predictable and profitable revenue streams.
“By focusing our expertise on specific tasks and projects, we are able to maximise our productivity and continue to always provide a first-class service.”
