Provident Financial signs £2m outsourcing deal with Banner

Consumer credit company Provident Financial, has awarded Banner Managed Communication a £2 million contract to supply it print & document management and storage & distribution services.

Business communication specialist Banner Managed Communication (BMC), secured the two-year contract with Provident Financial following a competitive tender process.

The contract encompasses all business-critical operational print & marketing collateral and the management of office supplies. BMC will also handle consolidated storage and distribution solutions for the business across 270 sites in the UK and Republic of Ireland. BMC will also provide a dedicated account manager for print, complemented by centralised call centre support for office supplies.

Steven Schools, senior procurement manager, Provident Financial, said:

One of our main priorities was to minimise the potential disruption of moving away from our long-standing supplier. The competitive tender process and due diligence showed us that BMC would be able to offer expertise, a seamless transition and ongoing support that would match our business needs.”

Catherine Burke, managing director, BMC, commented:

“We’re really pleased to have the opportunity to work with Provident Financial and that we’ve been entrusted to deliver these business-critical services. BMC’s ability to offer multiple outsourced services through a single relationship, leveraging specialist expertise from other office2office group businesses, including BBS and Truline, is clearly another important point of differentiation and competitive advantage for us.”
