One of the world’s leading insurance providers, QBE Insurance Group, have selected Scanomat’s TopBrewer and TopWater for their newly refurbished offices at Plantation Place, Fenchurch Street.
The stylish app-controlled bean-to-cup coffee and water taps will be the standard beverage solution for all staff and visitor refreshment points.
The office is being designed by Pringle Brandon Perkins + Will, who are one of the most successful and established design firms in the world. Workplace Consultants, CBRE, are managing delivery of the project which is due for completion in June 2016.
The major office refurbishment project and investment will provide a new modern working environment for staff and visitors reflecting their ‘ONE QBE’ values and strategic mission ‘to adopt a consistent and aligned approach to the way we manage, grow and build our business around the globe.’
Scanomat UK will install a mix of TopBrewer and TopWater units in a number of staff coffee points, Brokers Lounge and pantries at Plantation Place, with the roll out commencing towards the end of 2015.
Mark Thompson, Head of Corporate Real Estates Services at QBE comments: “We selected the TopBrewer as the standard refreshment solution for our modern workspace due to it’s flexible design, advanced technology and social aspect. It is the ideal refreshment solution for the new QBE office as it is stylish, yet functional, and fits seamlessly into each individual working environment.”
Simon Bracken, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Scanomat UK, said: “At Scanomat, we have set out to redefine the office coffee experience by challenging the way we think about coffee as consumers. Our clients love the freedom that the TopBrewer offers, as it allows them to design a sociable, flexible space around the coffee machine. We are delighted to have QBE Insurance on board as a TopBrewer client and look forward to watching the project develop over the next 6 to 12 months.”
