SafeGroup makes appointment to lead SW England expansion

The soft FM and waste management specialist has appointed experienced business development manager Tracey Tripp to drive expansion of its operations in south west England.

Heading up business development for SafeGroup in support of the company’s newest depot in Dorchester, Dorset, Tripp has more than 15 years’ experience working in sales roles in the specialist cleaning and hygiene service sector.

SafeGroup Head of Sales Mark McGowan said: “Tracey brings exceptional experience and drive to SafeGroup which I am sure will help us accelerate our growth in the south west region.

“Our approach is to combine the best expertise and operational deliver with equally high quality customer support and having Tracey in place will ensure we deliver on all those service elements.”

Tripp says she can see the huge potential for the growth of the company’s services in cities like Bristol, Bath Exeter and Plymouth, and right across the region.

She said: “I’m excited by the opportunity to work at SafeGroup. I like its ambition for growth based on the delivery of first class service, and developing strong relationships with customers.

“SafeGroup are acknowledged experts in specialist cleaning, such as biohazard cleaning, high level cleaning and trauma cleaning, as well as decontamination and specialist and emergency waste management.

“Many customers in the south west will be very glad to know SafeGroup is active in the region and can deliver these services quickly, safely and to a high standard.

“I can see our business really taking off, creating new jobs for local people, which will be a real thrill to be part of. I want to be the first person people think of when it comes to carrying out difficult cleaning projects, knowing SafeGroup will solve their issue.”

New business trends, such as the growth of staycations and the need to improve business hygiene in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic all pointed to rising demand for SafeGroup services across counties like Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon and Cornwall.
