Saracen boosts forward order book with extended service offering and northern expansion

Saracen Interiors has announced that it has completed almost 75 per cent of its forward order book, covering the remainder of 2014, thanks to new business generated by its Yorkshire office in Wetherby as well as business from existing clients who are making use of the leading office interiors specialist’s extended service offering.

The Wetherby office opened its doors earlier this year to accommodate the management of a series of projects in Leeds, York, Derby and Peterborough. Since then, the company has developed further business opportunities in the Yorkshire area and is now in the process of developing its team to meet this requirement.

In the last eighteen months, the company has also successfully introduced three more divisions: Saracen Facilities, Saracen Small Works and Saracen Move Management. Launched to meet customer demand, the divisions now allow Saracen’s existing customers to enjoy a ‘one stop shop’ facility which has served to create a healthy pipeline of repeat business, particularly for Saracen Small Works.

Small Works recently forecast a doubling of its turnover for 2014 following a successful first year of operation which saw the fledgling division take approximately 12 per cent of the company’s overall turnover.

Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page comments on the rapid success of the company’s Small Works division:

“Small Works has been an immediate success because we had an established customer base for this division made up of companies who we have worked with in the past who are appreciative of the same level of service and professionalism for their smaller projects, including alterations and modifications and general upgrading, redecorating and updating.

“Ultimately, our customers know we are reliable and that they can trust us to deliver on every level and we are looking forward to promoting the services of our other divisions, Saracen Facilities and Saracen Move Management, in the second part of this year to mark what we expect to be a period of continued growth for both.”

Saracen has grown steadily over the past 20 years, making its mark in the regional fit out arena and latterly securing a reputation for design expertise as well as an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the commercial property market. Based in the South East, the company has a proven track record in improving workplace efficiency and corporate standing with its tailor-made, cost-effective solutions. The best acknowledgement of its success can be found in the strong relations it has formed with its clients.

Recent clients include Shield Security, TE Connectivity, Aspect Property Group, Flight Safety, CH2M Hill, Countrywide PLC, Knight Frank, Mitie Engineering, Pizza Hut, Redrow, Soccer World, Thames Water, Toshiba, Trident Trust, Viatel, BAE Systems, Sue Ryder Care, Sandhurst School, North Surrey Primary Care Trust, Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital NHS Trust.
