Saracen Interiors has appointed a dedicated business development manager and a regional contracts director as part of its commitment to laying down strong foundations in the North of the country.
Since opening the office in Wetherby earlier this year, the South East fit out company has identified the potential to grow its client base in the North and has added to its team accordingly in a bid to manage further expansion.
Colin Roe, who was initially introduced to help Saracen’s Wetherby office and has since overseen all projects run by the company in the area, including jobs in Leeds, York, Derby and Peterborough, takes up the position of regional contracts director. An experienced contracts director with an indepth working knowledge of Yorkshire and its surrounding areas, Colin is also driving sales in the region.
Heather Miller joins the team as a business development manager and is responsible for identifying further new business opportunities and building relationships with clients in the North.
Last year, saw Saracen expand with the launch of three new divisions – Saracen Facilities, Saracen Small Works and Saracen Move Management. With the new divisions now established, Saracen is now ready to roll out its business plan and build a reputation across a wider area.
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page explained:
“We were initially propelled into opening a northern office in order to meet the needs of one of our long-term clients in the South – a leading global environmental services provider who required our fit out services across key locations in the North. As a trusted partner, the client felt more comfortable bringing our team to the North, safe in the knowledge that work would be carried out to a high standard whilst avoiding the pitfalls of breaking in a new team. We took this opportunity to test the waters and see if a new office might be feasible and it was and is. We’re delighted to be here and now, with a solid team in place, we’re looking to build on our success.”
Saracen Interiors recently announced that it has completed almost 75 per cent of its forward order book, covering the remainder of 2014, thanks to new business generated by its Wetherby office, as well as business from existing clients who are making use of the office interiors specialist’s extended service offering.
