Smart buildings survey

Individual sub-systems within a building have long operated in silo. However, the current trend is headed toward a greater interconnected environment. Global technology research powerhouse, Omdia, connects the dots to reveal the value of the building’s intelligent environment through its Smart Buildings research.

As part of this research, Omdia is conducting a survey of end-users and installers/integrators in collaboration with IFESC, the Facilities Show and Intelligent Building Europe. The survey’s purpose is to review the state of the smart building technology markets today, the challenges faced by this ambitious industry, and the short-term and long-term objectives of actors on the market.

As a thank you, those who fill out the survey will receive a summary of the results, which will include key insights from our analysis. For instance, last year’s survey showed that although the majority of respondents had smart building technologies in their facilities and were collecting their data, almost half (42 per cent) were not making use of their building data or undertaking analysis to identify changes and patterns that could support their building operation and management.
