Sodexo Prestige has added to its 18-year relationship with Aberdeen Football Club, having scored a further three-year catering and hospitality deal at the Pittodrie Stadium.
Now keen to develop its product packages for hospitality and retail at the venue on match days and to develop packages for non match day events, David Trotter, catering services director at Sodexo Prestige, said:
“Having worked with Aberdeen Football Club for quite some time, we have built a solid relationship with the team there and are very much looking forward to building on that relationship so that we can continually evolve and improve the services we offer to customers at Pittodrie.
“Retail catering is a key area for development with the average attendances increasing due to the on the field success giving a further opportunity to enhance the customer experience.
“With a strong focus on the use of fresh, seasonal and local produce in our food, we feel confident that we can help the conference and events business at Aberdeen Football Club develop and grow.”
The venue includes eight event rooms which can cater for 2-400 guests at a wide range of events including conferences, product launches, meetings, dinners, exhibitions or private dining.
Sodexo Prestige will be working closely with the Club in the coming months to support Scotland’s ‘Year of Food and Drink‘ initiative, with the stadium playing host to a number of food and drink focused events.
