Sodexo is bolstering its stadia and racecourse teams at Aberdeen Football Club, as well as across its sports portfolio in Scotland and Northern Ireland with the appointment of Euan Stewart and Derek Coulter to key roles within its Sports and Leisure division.
Euan Stewart joins the team in a newly created role at Aberdeen Football Club, as Catering Services Director, where Sodexo Prestige Venue’s & Events team at Pittodrie Stadium has worked closely with the club over the past 20 years.
Stewart brings to the role a wealth of hospitality, project management and business development experience. He has a solid understanding of the Aberdeen market having worked in various roles in the hospitality sector over the past 20 years. Latterly he ran his own consultancy business advising companies expanding in the UK serviced apartment sector.
Derek Coulter, who has worked at Sodexo for 32 years has been promoted to the role of Account Manager for Stadia and Racecourses in Scotland and NI. The position will give him responsibility for Sodexo’s operations at venues across the region, including Aberdeen Football Club; Hamilton Park Racecourse; Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium, Perth Racecourse, the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, as well as Dundee and Dundee United Football Clubs too.
Previously Coulter held the position of Scottish Buying Liaison Manager in the Sports & Leisure division for eight years. In this role he worked closely with the venue teams and local suppliers to ensure all quality standards were met across the business.
