Spectrum provides winning formula at Scottish chemical site

Spectrum Service Solutions has secured two contract wins at Scotland’s prime chemicals site in Grangemouth.

CalaChem is one of the UK’s leading fine chemicals manufacturers and a key provider of services at the Grangemouth site. CalaChem operates two business units; custom manufacturing is provided from its five chemicals manufacturing plants, and its services division provides utilities, effluent treatment, facilities management and property management to companies on the Earls Gate Park site adjacent to the Grangemouth manufacturing site.

Under the terms of the CalaChem contract, Spectrum will provide cleaning and janitorial services to offices, kitchens, toilets, laboratories, mess rooms, changing rooms and locker rooms, as well as reception services and management services for stores, consumables, water and pest control.

Separately, but within the same development, Japanese multinational photography and imaging company, FujiFilm has appointed Spectrum to deliver a range of cleaning services to its offices, canteen areas, mess rooms and locker rooms. The contract also includes hygiene and washroom services, waste disposal services (including confidential waste), laundry services and the provision of bottled water.
