Supra UK receives trading standards accreditation

Specialists in independent living and security solutions, Supra UK Ltd trading as The Key Safe Company, has been recognised as an approved member of Trading Standards’ Buy With Confidence scheme.

The scheme, which was created in response to concerns about rogue traders, has strict test criteria, which businesses have to pass in order to be awarded the prestigious standard.

Buy With Confidence is the largest scheme of its kind nationally and Supra UK underwent a range of tailored background checks, including a visit from Trading Standards. Good references are required from previous customers and applicants must agree to abide by the scheme’s code of conduct, which requires them to follow the letter and spirit of the law.

David Ogden, Managing Director of Supra UK, commented: “Membership of the Buy With Confidence scheme is not one that is easily achieved and we understood how crucial it was for us to undergo the vigorous tests. It’s vital that our customers have complete trust in our products and services so we’re delighted that the Buy With Confidence will add an additional layer of assurance to our services.

“We’ve always been confident in the products that we sell and our customer testimonials and third-party endorsements are a testament to this. The care and security market requires an additional level of trust in a brand as we’re playing such an important role in people’s wellbeing, so third-party accreditations such as these provide customers with further peace of mind.”

Supra UK has a range of products available to support independent living including the market-leading Supra C500 KeySafe, which provides a method of externally storing up to five keys. Already recognised by the majority of local authorities and thousands of UK householders, the Supra C500 is not only recognised by the Secured by Design initiative achieving the LPS1175: Issue 6, security rating 1, it is also police accredited. The product also has an accredited certification from The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), the leading international Certification Body in the fields of security and fire protection.

Additional products available from Supra UK include its personal monitoring system, the One Touch Pendant, WIWE a handheld device that evaluates ECG waves to calculate if there is a risk of Atrial Fibrillation related stroke and sudden cardiac arrests and Care@Home Family Safe package, which allows a tailored care solution for your loved ones.
