Sypro signs partnership deal with Hull City AFC

EFL Championship football club Hull City and compliance and asset management software provider Sypro have entered into a partnership deal that will see the football club use Sypro’s Risk Manager software to manage its assets across the main stadium and training sites.

Risk Manager allows organisations to review, detect and manage the areas that are most at risk within their operations and to address them and allocate any work required to mitigate those risks.

Following a successful trial, the system will implement asset, compliance and maintenance modules to help Hull City’s operations team streamline their ways of working through a central system designed to identify, mitigate and action solutions to any causes of risk.

Josh Mitchell, Head of Sales at Sypro, said: “We’re proud to be announcing this new partnership with Hull City to help effectively manage the stadium and training ground with all the right functionality to cope with the varied activities that take place across the estate.

“Clients have their own unique requirements and Hull City AFC is no different. Its needs vary compared to other football clubs and are even different between the training ground and stadium. The use of Risk Manager and a central system will help to streamline communication issues around the stadium and between teams – as well as across both sites as a collective.

“Crucially, the use of Risk Manager will allow the operations team to review, detect and manage the key areas that propose any risk – and to address them and allocate the work necessary to mitigate those risks before they become bigger and more costly down the line.”

Paul Woodford, Head of Operations, at Hull City AFC, commented: “Stadium Management Company operates a busy stadium, training ground facility and academy, with numerous challenges to manage on a daily basis, across all three of its sites, including the MKM Stadium.

“We needed a system that would allow multiple users to track workflow and projects, as well as a central management tool to help us prioritise work and track budgets accordingly. Sypro is a versatile system, and the team were very straightforward and professional to deal with – crucial when we’re implementing a new system in such a fast-paced environment.”

This webinar will look at how outsourcing is a cost-effective and highly relevant strategy to not only counter the race for talent, but to build greater agility, expertise, infrastructure and resource into business. In particular it will acknowledge the operational challenges facing FMs as the UK starts its return to the workplace.
